A day with strangers

As I got my sit in Rajdhani after putting everything in place I put headset in my ears. I hate politics and people who think lots and lots of negative things about India Because I am my self very pessimistJ And train is one thing in which I need peace. Its not that I don’t like talking inside train but the things should be interesting and the person who is talking too.

My favorite place inside train is the top berth in which there is no one to disturb and where I do not have to wake according to the person sleeping inside my bogie. As soon as I started listening to the latest song “Yun to main ghabrata nahi, par teri parwah karta hun main maa.” The person sitting in front of me was telling something after every one or two minute. It was a problem to pause the song and then listen to things like “Yeh newspaper to free hai.” Or “There should be one more tea bag.”

After I did pause-resume for more then 5 times in 10 minutes I took that out of my ears. And I thought to give the next two hours to that man experiences that was oozing to come out. That man was professor and manager of some IIT institute in Aligarh.

Sharma ji(pandit), above 55 with round face and big tummy and lots of stuff to tell others in that big tummy. So he started with I am a professor, children of IAS doctors and engineer comes to my institute. But he seemed to worried about his tummy while talking all this. He didn’t had the time to think about that when he was working and now he was free. When ever he looked on the tray that he had kept on his legs; or when he saw his suitcase under the seat that tummy got in-between. He got irritated and his irritation made him to talk something so that he doesn’t have to look at them again and again.

He started telling me about the time when he was fit. “Just six months before I had very fit body” He told. That was the time when I was doing morning walk with my Mrs. She is still very fit because she haven’t left that habit. I really wants to ask, “If yours Mrs can continue then why can’t you.”

Since I was wearing the white turban topic shifted from the exercises and health to religion. This is a topic on which citizen of India can talk for hours. We are interested to know what others are doing to please there god.

As we were going deep inside the topic, some one said, “Mumbai Raj Dakhray ke jagir nahi hai.” This took the attension of everyone. Latest topic, free time and people mostly from UP bihar and jharkhand were inside the train. This statement had lots of truth so I took the interest too . I too felt very bad when I saw the clipping of people beating northern with belt, chain and chapels. But those clipping were same and channels were showing them again and again make the condition worst. Everyone knows that Mumbai is not the jagir of Raj Thankray. The people of India knows this; including Maharastrain. The beauty of India is this that everyone is different here. It’s like Bhelpuri. Separate all the things and there is no taste but put everything inside a bowl then we get a delicious taste. The real beauty of life is when we mix with others, when we respect them and there feeling.

We should think once that if a bihari is living inside Mumbai. It’s not because he likes looking at Bachan or Shahrukh banglow outside the front gate; He is living there because of roti which he not getting enough from is own state. State government here is not able to provide him job. If every Indian tries to make Jharkhand, Bihar self dependent, if there could be someway to stop the corruption here no one will go outside. As I got outside of what I was thinking I again listed from someone, “Tab to yahan koi marathi nahi reh payga.” And I once again said to myself I hate the talks related to politics. Solution of these talks are worst then problem itself.  I tried to put that headset once again in my ears and then again Sharma ji told Both of my sons are engineer…….I have my home at very good place……. Companies pay for both my mobile phone……..turnover of the institute is more then 2000 crors…..and so on.

Time was passing nicely listening to him and I felt that talking with strangers inside train is not so bad too.
